Possible Tukutuku designs for our Kapa Haka uniforms.
Which one is your favourite?
In the middle is the Poutama that represents the “Stair case to knowledge”. On the side are the three lines that represents a person, beside it is another person. Between them are lines that link them together. Over all, it represents kotahitanga.
The Poutama is the stair case to knowledge. The Roimata tōroa are the children and they’re going up.
The Poutama is for the knowledge of Kapa Haka. The Kao Kao is the joining of the community.
